Green Acres

I recently took a visit to the CAC to check out the Green Acres exhibit.  I thought it was interesting to experience this "farm" inspired work confined in the white walls of the gallery.  This show also reminded me where our food and resources come from, and how farming unites people.

Kara Walker Inspiration

Recently I have been obsessed with silhouettes of collages I have made.  The silhouettes take on a life of their own.  This work that I have been doing reminds me of Kara Walker's work a little.
